We are so blessed to have some awesome ladies on the Pollinate team! I really wanted you to meet them so you know who you’ll be working with on future campaigns with Pollinate Media. I hope you’ll pop by and visit their blogs, Facebook and Twitter pages and say hello. Introducing…. JENNIFER CURTIS, COMMUNITY DIRECTOR Many of you have already worked with Jen on Pollinate campaigns, but I wanted to give you the chance   to get to know her better. As our new Community Director, Jennifer will continue to work on campaigns  with us, but will also be assisting and training new project managers on the team. Jennifer Curtis is the author of Frenso DIY and Foodie blog, Always in Wonder. A graduate of California State University of Fresno with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication and Photo Journalism, Jennifer is the perfect addition to the Pollinate community. She brings a great deal of experience in the areas of social media and community growth and development; making her an asset to any growing business. Jennifer has been blogging since 2008 after becoming a wife and then a mom and her passion for blogging grew into a desire to share amazing brands with her readers. She has experience working with other blogging agencies and directly with brands before joining Pollinate Media Group. Jennifer loves all types of creative outlets, including painting, cooking, photography, and more. As part of Pollinate Media, Jennifer’s role is to continue to grow and train our community and manage brand campaigns. BLOG // FACEBOOK // TWITTER // GOOGLE + SUMMER ALVAREZ, COMMUNITY MANAGER+PROJECT MANAGER As a former Dancer and Community Ambassador with the Los Angeles Clippers & San Diego Chargers, Summer has over 10 years of experience working with businesses on trade shows, commercials and promotional events to help communicate their brand message to the community.  Now as a mother of 2 and a wife she enjoys a little “Me” time while blogging and designing poducts for her handmade shop.  Summer has a hard time keeping excitement to herself which makes her a perfect fit for our Community Manager where she will be working to expand our already extensive list of agency bloggers.  Pulling double duty as a Campaign Manager suits her, as she enjoys multitasking while endulging in some late night reality tv watching with her favorite men “Ben & Jerry”.
MANDY CHRISTIANSEN, PROJECT MANAGER
 Mandy Christiansen knew that she wanted to work in Fashion at the age of 9. Through out her teen years she devoured magazines and sewed her own clothing before finding a way to make her passion a reality. She attained a BA in Fashion Merchandising from Cal State University, Long Beach and secured an internship and began a career with Nordstrom in her last year of college. Mandy spent the next eight years in various management roles, including Department Manager, National Allocator and Regional Merchandise Manager, with Nordstrom. When she moved to Seattle in 2007 to follow her dream of being a Buyer she began blogging to keep everyone back home up to date. Her love of blogging and Fashion led to her starting the personal style blog, “in the Fashion Lane”, in 2009. She is a lover of all Social Media and is hardly seen without her iPhone in hand. Mandy’s history of building solid sales teams, creating and sustaining strong relationships and her ability to utilize her creativity makes her an asset to the team.
ASHLEE THOMAS, SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR
 Ashlee graduated from Chapman University with a BA in Communications. She began her career in the healthcare industry; working for a third party administrator followed by a prestigious university hospital in their human resources department. After becoming a mother, she started her family and lifestyle blog, Growing Up A Thomas in 2010. Ashlee’s studies in communication along with her passion for all things “social” make her the perfect fit for her role as social media coordinator. Ashlee thrives on meeting new people and strives to create a sense of community both in her blog and her role here at Pollinate Media.
