Kentucky Mule: Easy Spring Cocktail

Posted by & filed under Uncategorized.

One of my all time favorite drinks is a Kentucky Mule, similar to a Moscow Mule, but instead of vodka you use Bourbon. I enjoy the taste of bourbon over vodka. I like the hint of caramel and honey that bourbon has, so if can substitute bourbon in a cocktail you best believe I will be doing just that! Kentucky Mule Recipe The recipe for this is super simple.  The hardest part might be finding copper mugs.

Ingredients:

Ice

Juice of 1/2 a Lime

2 ounces of bourbon

4-6 ounces ginger beer

Kentucky Mule Recipe How to assemble:

Fill a  copper mule mug {or a collins glass/tall thin glass} with ice and add the lime juice.

Pour in bourbon and top with cold ginger beer.

Stir, test, add more bourbon if needed {hehe}, garnish with lime slice and serve.
