A couple weeks ago I attended my third Alt Summit Winter Conference. I have to admit it’s one of my favorite conferences to attend each year. From the attention to detail and style + design of each event, I feel as thought much effort was made in effort to help attendees feel welcome. Even with 650 attendees at the conference, they do an incredible job of keep the feeling of intimacy, making it easy to make new friends. This year I was really excited to attend because I had some of the people in my tribe attending with me and I was speaking with my assistant, Skye, at a Round Table.
I know people often shy away from conference because their nervous about meeting new people or getting out of their comfort zone, so I want to encourage you to Stretch yourself this year and make it a goal to make it to a conference. They are such a great way of bonding with your already established online tribe and an opportunity to meet some great new people. Just so you get a taste for how amazing attending a conference, (hint, hint, Alt Summit) can be, here are some of my favorite quotes from speakers I jotted down during the weekend.
